Reading and capture stack

RSS, later-reading, and bookmarks — keep articles and links off opaque SaaS timelines.
Pick one reader lane
FreshRSS and Miniflux overlap. FreshRSS leans featureful multi-user; Miniflux stays lean and keyboard-friendly. Deploy one, subscribe to ten high-signal feeds, and ignore the rest of the open web for a month.
Capture without chaos
Wallabag (or a similar later-reader) stores full pages when RSS summaries are thin. Linkding holds durable bookmarks with tags. Do not dump every share-sheet item into all three — define when an item is "feed," "read later," or "permanent reference."
Backup the metadata
Export OPML and bookmark dumps quarterly. The articles you cared about are useless if the feed list and tags live only on one SSD.
